Summary: Light snow has developed across the area this morning. Most locations will get less than an inch up to mid day, but 1 to 2 inches may occur for some higher elevations. Despite the snow being light, roads may be slick this morning before improving as temperatures creep above freezing for most of the area and daylight gets stronger. Exercise caution if traveling.

Precipitation will develop today, changing to all snow this afternoon and evening. The most severe conditions and heaviest snowfall will occur tonight, with snow gradually tapering off during the daytime Monday. Record breaking snowfall totals are possible. * WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 16 and 22 inches.
