Summary: * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County... * WHEN...Until 1000 PM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 836 PM HST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain over most of the Koolaus. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kaneohe, Ahuimanu, Kahaluu, Kaneohe Marine Base, Waiahole, Maunawili, Kailua, Waikane, Manoa, Waimanalo and Kaaawa.

Summary: FFWHFO The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... The island of Kauai in Kauai County * Until 1145 PM HST. * At 834 PM HST, gauge reports indicate flooding continues on the Hanalei River, including at and near Hanalei Bridge. Therefore, even though heavy rain has ended, the flood warning is being extended. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by previous heavy rain. SOURCE...Gauges reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Areas along and near the Hanalei River, including the Hanalei Bridge.

Summary: ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU KAUAI AND OAHU... ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH FACING SHORES OF MOLOKAI AND MAUI... .A moderate, long-period northwest (330 degrees) swell is expected to arrive this evening, and quickly build overnight. Advisory level surf is expected to Sunday for north and west facing shores exposed to the swell, with the swell expected to continue into Monday. The swell may shift to a slightly more northerly direction for a brief time Monday, before declining Tuesday. * WHAT...For north facing shores, building to 15 to 20 feet. For west facing shores, building to 10 to 14 feet. * WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai and Oahu, and north facing shores of Molokai and Maui. * WHEN...From 6 AM Sunday to 6 PM HST Monday. * IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
