Tangipahoa River Near Robert affecting Tangipahoa Parish. For the Tangipahoa River...including Osyka, Kentwood, Tangi. River near Tickfaw, Amite, Robert...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tangipahoa River at Osyka. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Pastures and woodlands along with some crop land near the river will be inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CST Saturday the stage was 15.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.5 feet tomorrow morning. For the Bogue Chitto River...including Tylertown, Franklinton, Bush...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Bogue Chitto River near Tylertown. * WHEN...Until Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, There will be extensive flooding of Hidden Springs Resort Park. Homes and secondary roads in the vicinity of the river will remain flooded. There will be widespread flooding of pasture and farm land. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CST Saturday the stage was 22.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.0 feet just after midnight tonight.
