Summary: * WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 10 to 15 feet expected in the surf zone. For the Coastal Flood Warning, 2 to 3 feet of inundation above ground level expected in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...In Maryland, coastal Worcester County. In Virginia, Accomack and Northampton Counties. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 6 PM EDT Monday. For the Coastal Flood Warning, from 8 AM Sunday to 6 AM EDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Moderate to major flooding will cause extensive inundation and flooding of numerous roads and buildings resulting in a significant threat to property and life. Water will be 2 to 3 feet or more above ground level in some areas. Moderate to severe flooding will extend inland from the waterfront and shoreline flooding homes, businesses and isolating some neighborhoods. Numerous roads may be impassable under several feet of water and cars submerged. Some areas may need to be evacuated. Erosion and damage to dune structures will be possible. Actions should be taken to protect property along the immediate shoreline. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Peak water levels are expected with the high tide cycle occurring early Sunday afternoon, but significant additional flooding is expected into Monday morning.

For the Coastal Flood Watch, up to one foot of inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 1 AM EDT Sunday, especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Sunday evening through late Sunday night, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on Dock Street in Annapolis. For the Coastal Flood Watch, up to one foot of inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in St. Marys County. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 5 AM to 9 AM EDT Sunday, especially around the time of high tide. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the east, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St. Mary's River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Coltons Point is at 6:35 AM and 6:49 PM. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 5:59 AM and 6:13 PM. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 5:43 PM and 5:41 AM.

At 3.5 feet, yards are flooded near Charles Street and Williams Street in Solomons. Nearby parking lots and the streets themselves are covered by more than a half foot of water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Solomons Island is at 5:33 AM and 6:26 PM. The next high tide at Chesapeake Beach is at 7:23 AM and 8:24 PM.
