Flood Warning issued August 11 at 12:35PM EDT until August 12 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Charleston WVSummary: * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central Morgan County in southeastern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of the Muskingum River at and near McConnelsville is expected this afternoon and evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1219 PM EDT, The gauge at McConnelsville on the Muskingum River was reading 6.1 feet and rising. The river is forecast to crest near 7.5 feet this evening. Due to the recent dam replacement, the official flood stage is no longer representative of known impacts. Flooding of areas away from the gauge can be expected at lower stages. At stages of 7.5 feet, sections of Route 669 above Malta and other roads along the river being to flood. In addition, low-lying areas adjacent to the river, including recreational boat ramps, will also experience flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Also, water will be across State Route 93 just south of Logan.
