Summary: * WHAT...Freezing rain, sleet, and snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...The western half of North Dakota. * WHEN...Until 3 PM CST /2 PM MST/ this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty winds could combine with the freezing rain to enhance ice accumulations on elevated objects, and with falling snow to produce significant visibility restrictions.

Summary: * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 35 below. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota. * WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

Summary: * WHAT...Mixed precipitation and areas of blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches, locally up to 4 inches, and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota. * WHEN...From noon Saturday to noon CST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. Falling and blowing snow will lead to areas of quick and sudden reductions to visibility, making travel difficult, especially in rural areas that are prone to blowing snow.
