Summary: * WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze to one tenth of an inch. * WHERE...Southern Berkshire County in western Massachusetts and Greene, Columbia and western Ulster counties in eastern New York. * WHEN...From noon Wednesday to 4 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A mix of rain and freezing rain is expected Wednesday afternoon before changing to snow or a wintry mix, including freezing rain, Wednesday night before ending early Thursday morning.

Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches. * WHERE...Northern Berkshire County in western Massachusetts, portions of the Adirondacks, Mohawk Valley, Schoharie County, Helderbergs, Capital District, northern Taconics and Lake George Saratoga region in eastern New York, and southern Vermont. * WHEN...From noon Wednesday to 4 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A mix of snow and rain will transition to all snow Wednesday afternoon and continue into Wednesday night before ending early Thursday morning. Localized pockets of freezing rain will be possible as well, especially along and south of Interstate 90, which may produce up to a light glaze.
