Summary: * WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog. * WHERE...North Itasca and North St. Louis Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bois Forte Band, Deer Creek and, Nett Lake areas. Other locations including Voyageurs National Park. This also includes the Boundary Waters western area. * WHEN...Until 11 AM CST this morning. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. In areas where temperatures are near or below freezing, the fog could result in icy roads, sidewalks, and other surfaces.

In Wisconsin, Price, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Grand Portage Reservation, the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Fond du Lac Band, the Bad River Reservation, the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion area, the Red Cliff Band and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake, Big Sandy Lake and, East Lake areas. Other locations including Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and central area. * WHEN...Until 11 AM CST this morning. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. Summary: * WHAT...Areas of dense fog and freezing fog with visibility as low as one quarter mile. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central, southeast, and west central Minnesota and northwest and west central Wisconsin. * WHEN...Until 9 AM CST this morning. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. Freezing fog may deposit onto untreated or lesser traveled roads, bridges and overpasses, creating slippery spots.
