Summary: * WHAT...Temperatures as low as 34 will result in frost formation. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Carlton, South and Central St. Louis, Cook and Lake Counties. In Wisconsin, Douglas County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band, the Grand Portage Reservation and the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion area. This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and central area. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Summary: Dry conditions and breezy winds will lead to near critical fire weather conditions today. Southeast to east-southeast winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts of 20 to 25 mph are forecast for this afternoon into early evening. Minimum relative humidity values of 20 to 30 percent are also expected. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning. Summary: * WHAT...Dangerous swimming conditions are expected along the Lake Superior shoreline due to high wave action and strong rip currents. * WHERE...Minnesota Park Point and Wisconsin Point Beaches. * WHEN...From 11 AM CDT Friday through Friday evening. * IMPACTS...High wave action can make swimming difficult on days such as this. Incoming waves in rapid succession can tire even an experienced swimmer quickly. Rip currents can move you away from land. To avoid being swept away, swim parallel to the shore to exit a rip current.

Summary: * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Lake and St. Louis Counties. * WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 622 PM CDT Thursday, minor flooding and high water levels are already occurring. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Oyster River, Ge-be-on-e-quet Creek, Horse River, Shohola Creek, Hustler River, Moose River, Jeanette Creek, Wolfpack Creek, Nugget Creek, Heritage Creek, Portage River, Range Line Creek and Legend Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Basswood Lake, northwestern Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Lake Agnes, Crooked Lake, Fourtown Lake, Lac la Croix, Lac La Croix and Loon Lake. - Flood safety information can be found at www.weather.gov/safety/flood.
