Root River Canal At Raymond affecting Racine County. .Two rivers in southeast Wisconsin remain in flood stage following recent rains of 3.5 to 4.5 inches. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Root River Canal at Raymond. * WHEN...Until late Monday night. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Water floods Koerber Park on 6 Mile Road. Flooding of rural land and agricultural land. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Sunday was 9.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 3.0 feet Sunday, September 27. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.6 feet on 02/25/1985. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Hoosier Creek Rd floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Sunday was 11.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.9 feet early tomorrow afternoon. Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water and high waves can sweep people off piers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Several beaches that will be most susceptible to the dangerous swimming conditions include... Rock Island State Beach, Baileys Harbor beaches and Whitefish Dunes Beach in Door County. Cresent Beach and City of Kewaunee Beach in Kewaunee County. Point Beach, Neshotah Beach and Red Arrow Beach in Manitowoc County.
